Scheduling Doesn’t Scale Down

The Hidden Time Cost of Scheduling
Kristen and I didn’t expect this, but scheduling demands a minimum of 150 hours whether your school has 1000 students or 250. That minimum doesn’t scale down.
At a large school, it’s absorbed by two or three full-time schedulers who spend 4–6 weeks producing a master schedule. But small schools (< 250 students) don’t have that option, and one administrator has to find at least 150 hours on top of five other jobs. Scheduling isn’t their role - it’s their burden.
How ScheduleX Changes the Equation
ScheduleX changes this equation. Instead of investing 150+ hours on a single schedule, schools spend a few days reviewing multiple options and choose the best one.
That’s efficient for every school. But for small and mid-sized schools, it’s like having a full-time scheduling team at the cost of an intern. It unlocks the same strategic capacity as a large school.
The Strategic Advantage
And with this leverage comes resilience and agility. You’re able to pilot new programs, electives and offerings without fearing the rebuild. Scheduling stops being an annual scramble and becomes a reliable system.

Everything you need to know about ScheduleX. Find answer to the most common question
Absolutely! ScheduleX allows you to add all your rules and requirements - as complex as they come - directly into the system. Our algoirthm will then generate schedule scenarios based on these rules.
You can upload your school’s data, configure your rules and constraints, and our AI-powered algorithm will generate multiple schedule options for you to choose from. Alternatively, you can visualise and build your own schedule from scratch.
Once you upload your data, the first schedule can be ready in as quickly as a couple of hours.
No, but your SIS will definitely thank us.
Until you’re happy with what you have. No cap :)
You can export your schedule in a .csv file that can be easily imported into popular SISs like Blackbaud, Veracross, Facts and others.
